I was able to create a spin effect using a stop-motion technique. It isn’t a perfectly smooth spin and it helps if the item you are animating is cartoon-y or clip art. So here’s how: First select the image you want and set its time for as short as you can (I used .02 seconds - which required me to zoom in completely). Next, for a full rotation, copy and paste the image three times right next to the original. Use the transform tool to rotate the 2nd image 90 degrees, the third image 180 degrees and the fourth image 270 degrees. These four clips make a whole rotation. Multi-select all four images and copy them. Paste them as many times as you want the image to spin. (Or make it into a GIF and it will loop.) After your final copy and paste, add the original image one more time if you want the image to return to its original orientation. If you want the image to move as well as spin, you can manually adjust the position of each image. It takes a little time to achieve a moving effect, but the basic spin is pretty easy. Here are a few I made:

I’ve also put my graphic into powerpoint, animated it, and recorded it via screencapture. I used it to create this little bee animation.https://www.wevideo.com/view/1954739482
